| beyond a reasonable doubt |
Alright people. This week, I went to watch Beyond a Reasonable Doubt starring Jesse Metcalfe (you might remember him in Desperate Housewives as the hot lawn mower for Eva Longoria), Amber Tamblyn and no introductions needed for Michael Douglas. Many of you might not know about this movie but I was somehow tempted to watch it after i saw the movie trailer and guess what, I find the movie to be good!
Here's how the story goes : A powerful district attorney, Mark Hunter (Douglas) is in the running for the next Governor and an ambitious journalist, C.J Nicholas (Metcalfe) is in the mission to dig out information to bring down the overzealous lawyer who manipulated false forensic eveidences in his cases by framing himself as a murder suspect to catch the corrupt D.A in the act and an assistant district attorney, Ella Crystal (Tamblyn) who is romantically linked to C.J, is torn between them, with C.J's dangerous exposure and Hunter's reputation at her hands. Now its up for Ella to prove that C.J is innocent as her life becomes threatened in order to save her C.J.
I like the storyline as its a fast pace movie. There are quite a number of twists in the story that would make you realise that who is innocent towards the end of the show. Jesse Metcalfe manages to potray his character very well and although you don't really get to see Michael Douglas's acts very much, those few moments are the one that brought in the impact in this movie. I'd recommend this movie to everyone. It is a good movie not to be missed. I give this movie a 4/5. =)

to JC : i have watched Coraline in 3D. i find it a little draggy but i like the moral of the story. The movie was very colourful and it also gives you some suspense in the midst of all the fun that Coraline had experience in her other home. I give it 3.5/5 (: how about you?
